At APHS, our STEM Club students have designed, built and raced a growing fleet of electric racing cars through Greenpower Education Trust and the S-RC Cup. Every vehicle has its own personality and story, but they all represent the creativity, teamwork and determination of the students who build, re-design and race them.

Our naming tradition began with the APHS acronym, celebrating our school values of Ambition, Pride, Happiness and Success. Our first car, APHS Ambition, reflects the drive to achieve, innovate and reach for new goals.

As our fleet grew, we looked to our North Norfolk coastal location and mythology for inspiration. APHS Poseidon captures the power and energy of the sea, while APHS Hercules celebrates strength and determination. Our newest additions continue this theme, giving each car its own unique identity while remaining part of the same APHS STEM story.
